Fourni Beach:
Only few people visit Fourni Beach as it is an isolated one. The beach is located at a distance of seventy eight kilometres from the Rhodes city.

Fourni Beach is known as one of the most stunning and finest beaches on Rhodes Island. However, due to the large distance from Rhodes city and its remote location the beach is never really crowded.

Visitors often give priority to the other neighbouring beaches during their Rhodes Holidays but none of those beaches are more attractive than the Fourni Beach.

The beach is beautiful with small, soft but pebbly shoreline and has a stunning background of lush green mountainsides.

Road to Fourni Beach:
The beach of Fourni is connected to the Rhodes city through a chaotic narrow road. The narrow path has some astonishing bends that sometimes can make one feel on the extreme edge of cliffs.

The narrow road after being even out comes across a small blind alley where you can see pine forests.

Beach Facilities:
Tourists have the opportunity to hire parasols, sun beds and other equipments on the beach. However, you have to bring your own umbrella as they are not available here.

The deck portion of the beach has many cafés and cantinas that offer fresh snacks, juices, fruits, beers, soft drinks and other light refreshments. There is also a small rock formation here that provides a good shade for the sun.

Appealing pine trees along with rocks and rolling waves of the sea on the beach attracts many tourists. The beach is very peaceful and is ideal for relaxing during Rhodes Holidays. This beach offers great environment to enjoy sunbath and relaxation but you may not avail any sophisticated water sports activities.

Activities on the Beach:
Walking along the beach is also a very pleasant and pleasing activity. As the beach is secluded, calm and peaceful mostly the elders and couples prefer it to spend good time together.

The beach offers a great place for swimming or simply walking along the beach, splashing water and enjoying the pleasant breeze. The water is wavy but very clear. If you do not like the crowded and noisy developed beaches then this is the ideal one for you.

There are no noisy clubs, large hotels, restaurants and bars. This beach is currently in its natural condition so you must not forget to visit it before it gets crowded with the extensive hotels and clubs.

Reaching the beach:
You can access Fourni Beach in several ways. One can take a cab to the beach. Being on a substantial distance from the Rhodes town, the beach can therefore be accessed by hiring a motorbike or car. You can reach the beach through Monolithos which is found just at a distance of 3 kilometres in the southwest of the village.

During your Rhodes Holidays if you get tired of the noisy and crowded beaches then you can visit the Fourni Beach. Therefore, if you wish to visit this beach, you are recommended to hire nearest Rhodes Accommodation and Rhodes Town Hotels.
