The spiritual mysticism that encases Israel has undoubtedly been alive since time began. It has been a hot bed of various religious struggles that claimed the lives of our ancestors the world over. It is rich and alive with biblical as well as historical remnants that remind us of our colorful human history.
Because of all the things we hear from the news every day, it may be hard for many people to believe that Israel is known as one of the top vacation destinations the world over. Israel’s central area alone has greatly developed to become one of its fastest flourishing areas. Tourism is highly evident in Central Israel by the wide array of five-star, mid-range and cheap hotels that are standing there today. These hotels are strategically located near the historic, religious and key economic spots in Central Israel.
In fact, a visit in Central Israel is not complete without experiencing the very lively Tel Aviv. The city is considered Israel’s version of New York City, with plenty of things to see and do round the clock. Located at the center of the country and at the coast of the Mediterranean Sea, Tel Aviv is known for its many amazing beaches. It also boasts plenty of public markets that showcase the sights, sounds and aromas of Israel, which are a huge hit to tourists. Scattered are the Tel Aviv hotels that can accommodate every traveler with different budgets. Most of them are even the most notable Israel hotels.
While Tel Aviv gains in popularity and draws thousands of holidaymakers year after year, small Central Israeli towns and cities are neglected. One of these untold secrets in Israel is Netanya. It houses a beach with a reach of fourteen kilometers, where most of the best hotels in Netanya are conveniently situated with views of the beautiful Mediterranean Sea. Not many people know that Israel is one of the world’s largest exporters of diamonds. Many elite travelers, however, are slowly discovering the diamond trade in Netanya, which greatly adds to its tourism value.
In February and March, wild and cultivated, dark blue irises grow south of Netanya. An iris nature reserve was established here. Since then, it became a tourist spot as well. Tourists can enjoy a walk on the pathway and immerse themselves in the beauty of these flowers where they shine their brightest during these times of the year. In addition to that, numerous parks and squares are built in the heart of the city, offering a wide array of activities for every visitor. Most of them are even in close proximity of the best hotels in Netanya.
Just outside of Netanya is the Poleg Nature Reserve. It is popular among the adventurous visitors who are always looking for a trail to conquer. Guided hiking trips are offered through the trail near the Poleg river that meets the vast open sea. Because wild flowers grow alongside the trail, the Poleg Nature Reserve has also become popular among botanists. The eucalyptus trees also attract tourists in the reserve. The trees were planted to help drain the swamps that develop in the plains of Sharon. Today, these trees have spread. They perennially serve their purpose as they were meant to, and they add to the beauty of this growing tourist hot spot.
This article does not even give justice to what Central Israel has to offer. Aside from the historical and biblical spots that the country is known for, other neighboring Israel cities also offer various tourist spots of different taste, color and flavor. Modernization is embraced in these regions, but it has never sacrificed the environment, the heritage and the rich history that makes Israel truly a blessed country.
