Orange County, California is known for the gorgeous beaches and sunny and warm weather . Many people rent beach houses in this area in the summer months to take advantage of the sun, sea and surf in addition to going to frequent Orange County special event activities that are going on here. If you travel to Orange County you should use the
Orange County airport taxi service to get to your destination in order to experience the area and experience the many great cultural events that go on there in the summer.
If music is what you love and you would like to experience some great concerts in Orange County, there a few great ones you should not miss . The first concert is titled “Dreamy Midsummer Night” located at Mission San Juan Capistrano and is put on by the Capistrano Valley Symphony where the conductor, John Santana will orchestrate a good concert celebrating the summer months . Another great symphony group is called Pacific symphony that has a concert located at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre in Irvine and it is callednamed “Classical favorites, American Inspirations”. For those who love the melodic tunes] of a symphony these are two great concerts to the OC . Another fun named “Music Under the Stars” also located at Mission San Juan Capistrano where there will be dining and dancing to various bands that play R & B, Motown, Jazz, Swing, Latin and Top 40 song choicesselections . This runs once a week for the whole summer season held in the gorgeous courtyard.
In addition to music, there are other great cultural events going on in Orange County this season . For film buffs , there are 2 film series offered in the area. The Bowers Museum Film Series you can see Italian cinema or even a recreation of a Chinese village from over 7,000 years ago during this ongoing series. Cinema Orange is the other film series located in Newport Beach and has various films such as feature length narratives, shorts and animated pieces of work from the Newport Beach Film Festival.
For those people that would like to support the local theatre in this area there are a few great productions going on this summer to attend . The Laguna Playhouse is putting on a production called “My Way, a Tribute to Frank Sinatra” that celebrates the entire life of the famous male singer and performer. Another play to see would be one of the most favored musicals known as “The Music Man” which is put on by a local theatre group known as Musical Theatre Village located in Irvine, California. Both of these shows would be a fun way to see local theatre in Orange County and to acknowledge the performers that live there.
Consider some of these great cultural events when you visit Orange County this summer. There is a lot going on there and many of these events are either free or for a very small fee so they are a great experience.
